Good news for the boxing fans as the government has allocated $80,000 to the Fiji Boxing Commission.

The allocation will support the operations of the commission and will help revive the sport of boxing in Fiji.

The Government also located $120,000 sports grant for persons living with disabilities to increase activity and encourage greater participation in national sports activities.

Meanwhile, a total of $24.1 million will be given to Ministry of Youth and Sports for the financial year 2018/2019.
