Eight teams that will take part in this year’s Battle of the Giants will be decided after this week’s round of Fiji Sun GP Batteries National League.

League Board secretary Jainendra Sukhu confirms that the two bottom placed teams after this weekend will not get a chance to play in the BOG.

He says BOG will see the start of 90 minutes soccer at tournaments.

Nadroga and Savusavu are currently in the red zone. Poor performance this weekend will see them sitting the second tournament out.

Sukhu says teams will have to perform.

Ba, Tavua, Nadroga and Savusavu will be featuring twice this weekend.

Ba gets a chance to go on top of the table if they register a win on their north tour.

Ba takes on Savusavu on Saturday and then face Labasa on Sunday.

Savusavu faces Nadroga on Sunday. The Stallions will get a day’s rest after they play Nadi on Friday.

Tavua, not so lucky, hosts Navua on Saturday and then travels to play Rewa on Sunday.
