BLK Nadroga retains HFC Farebrother Trophy

The BLK Nadroga rugby side has once again retained the HFC Bank Farebrother after defeating Namosi 43-5.

The Stallions raced to an early 21-0 after 15 minutes, courtesy of two tries to inside centre Eroni Vasiteri and one from Mitieli Nacagilevu, with the latter converting all tries.

Namosi hooker Viliame Satala pulled one back in the 25th minute which brought the scores to 21-5 at the breather.

The holders suffered an early setback with Nacagilevu sin-binned for a high tackle.

Outside centre Ratunaisa Narukutabua kicked a penalty goal to take Nadroga’s tally to 24 before lock Manoa Tamaya scored another try for the Stallions, bringing the scores to 31-5.

Substitute Apisai Moimoi crossed the chalk 8 minutes later before Nacagilevu added a penalty goal to bring the scores to 38-5.

Former 7s rep Ulaisi Lawavou scored the last try of the match to bring the final scores to 43-5.

Vatukoula will challenge BLK Nadroga for the coveted silverware next weekend.
