Some big names are expected to be announced in the coming week for the Fiji International golf tournament which will be played in Natadola in Nadi.
Apart from Fijian golfer Vijay Singh who’s already confirmed his homecoming, organisers are expecting big names out of China, Japan and Korea.
Head of Commercial for Fiji International Matthew Porm says they are doing everything possible to make the tournament grand.
“What we have got is that it is hard with golfers to commit immediately. They usually commit within three months out because they have to look down what they are doing next year whether they are playing in the Europe or United States and once they secure what they are doing the following year then we are going after them and we are going for some big names.”
The tournament will be held from August 14-17 at the Natadola Bay golf course in Sigatoka.
