Basketball Fiji rep Esala Banuve is confident of joining the national team to the upcoming World Qualifier that will be held in Asia.

Banuve has represented Fiji in numerous International tournaments and is ready to take the challenge.

Banuve says there is tough competition amongst players who want to prove themselves to be part of the team.

“To be in team that will go to the world qualifier it’s something big for a player It’s a big competition so for ourselves we expect more than we do like at this moment so that means we need to do some extra training more pieces of training improving your skill level and also your IQ of how you play your game Basketball.”

Meanwhile, the Basketball season starts in March.
