Ba and Labasa are the only teams that have made request for international transfers with the player transfer window opening next month confirm Fiji Football Association.
CEO Bob Kumar says the two teams have applied for the release of Fiji players in Hekari in Papua New Guinea.
Kumar says districts have to use the transfer window wisely as a lot of applications are received but very few followed through.
“The transfer window opens from July 1 and runs through to July 15. During
this time, Fiji FA receives a lot of applications. Some applications are made just for the sake of application but never followed through.”
Kumar confirms receiving an application from New Zealand club Mangare United for under-23 goal keeper Samuela Baleiloa.
Fiji FA will release the list of players bound for other teams after the transfer window closes.
