Fiji Secondary School Athletics Secretary Vuli Waqa says no school from the Maritime Zone have confirmed its participation in the Maritime Zone this year.

Waqa says they are expecting schools from the Maritime Zones to make confirmation later next week.

FSSA President Marika Uluinaceva says competition during the Coke Games will be high this year after receiving an expression of interests from overseas schools to participate in this year’s competition.

“There is actually a school from New Zealand who showed interest and has written to us and in our executive board meetings, we have accepted BUT they still need to confirm whether they’ll participate or not.”

Meanwhile, the Triple N Zone will be held next Friday at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
