Mixed netball will be held for the first time at the Fiji Hotel Volleyball tournament in Savusavu this weekend.

Tournament official, Vili Vakaliwaliwa says the new addition is sure to add more spice to the event, with 37 teams’ representing 18 hotels from around the country competing in netball and volleyball.

“It’s interesting that there are 8 teams altogether register for mixed netball. These teams are Radisson, Namale, Starwood, Sofitel, Laucala, Hilton, Outrigger and InterContinental. These are big resorts which are set to battle it out this year.”

The Fiji Hotel Volleyball tournament will be held on Saturday at Hot Springs Hotel grounds in Savusavu.
