November 12, 2018 5:49 pm

The Supervisor of Elections is advising voters to be prepared for the wet weather tomorrow.

Mohammed Saneem says they’ve been in touch with the Fiji Met Office and it looks like it will be rainy on polling day.

“We will be keeping a close eye, at this point in time, my advice to voters is to prepare themselves for a rainy election and there as such to ensure that at least they have back with an umbrella when they come to vote.”

Saneem says there are 1, 500 venues on polling day and most of these venues have school style corridors.

He says there may be some sheds and voters are urged to take necessary precautions.
