Voter Awareness workshops for Turaga ni Koro’s and District Advisory Councillors in the Central, Northern and Western Divisions are now complete.

And, a team from the Elections Office will be moving out later this week to conduct workshops in Rotuma, Rabi and Kioa.

Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says teams from the Elections Office are currently completing workshops in the Eastern Division with teams in Kadavu and Lomaiviti.

Turaga ni Koro’s and District Advisory Councilors play a significant role in assisting the Elections Office to ensure that every voter is aware of when, where and how to vote.

He says it is important for all Fijians to vote and have an active participation in the Electoral process.
