Vodafone searches for e-card top up outlets

October 4, 2017 6:04 pm

A team from Vodafone is currently scouting areas along the Kings Highway to find potential outlets for topping e-transport cards.

This comes after bus service providers complained about the lack of e-card top up outlets in rural areas.

Head of Vodafone E-Commerce and Corporate Affairs, Shailendra Prasad says this includes the Nayavu government station in Wainibuka including the major bus stops along the Kings Highway.

“We had a few of the post offices that were online, we expect to bring more in the next 2-3 days we will have majority of the post offices around the country including places like Vunidawa, Lomaivuna and all this areas who will come online so we hope to have more rural presence.”

Top-ups are also not available in some rural parts of Nadroga, Taveuni and Vanua Levu.
