Tikoca charged by FICAC for failing to declare liabilities

Opposition Whip Ratu Isoa Tikoca has been charged by Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption with one count of failing to declare liabilities under the Political Parties Registration Decree.

Tikoca appeared in the Suva Magistrates in the last hour.

He has been released on bail to reappear in court on May 27 for the second phase of disclosure.

SODELPA parliamentarians, Viliame Gavoka and Josefa Dulakivereta paid $1000 each for bail.

Tikoca who is represented by Nadi lawyer, Faizal Koya has surrendered his passport to the court as part of the bail condition.
