Three man charged with aggravated robbery and theft granted bail

Three man who fronted court for aggravated burglary and theft charges were granted bail by the Suva High Court today.

Paula Vura, Apete Turagatani and Navitalai Loatuicama appeared before Judge Justice Chamath Morais.

The three were granted bail under strict conditions and were asked to handover their passports to the court registry.

It is alleged that between January 13 and 15, of this year in Koro Island, the three men unlawfully entered the police post with the intention to commit theft.

During the same period they were also alleged to have stolen five plants believed to be marijuana from the Koro Island Community Post exhibit room.

The three have already pleaded guilty to the charges.

The case will be recalled on October 29th.
