19 hours into the Mirchi FM’s ‘Bum Mein Hai Dum’ competition and three contestants have been eliminated.

Yesterday, contestant, Priya Lal was disqualified followed by Ansari Mohammed and Kartik Raju this morning.

Supporters came out in numbers to cheer on their family members throughout the night until this morning.

Fiji Broadcasting Corporation, Chief Executive, Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says there will be tight security to monitor all competitors.

“We have rigid rules and regulations surrounding it, everyone is to follow the rules, the judge’s decision will be final and we will also do medical checkups as and when necessary and if someone is not in shape to carry on, then they will be asked to stop.”

The competitors will sit for four hours straight before a 20 minute break.

This will continue until there is only one person left sitting, who will walk away with a house worth $60,000.
