Three drown in separate incidences

The Fiji Police Force is investigating three separate drowning cases that happened in the last 24 hours.

In the first incident a 13-year-old boy of Kalekana settlement in Lami drowned when the Hobie Cat he was sailing in capsized.

The incident happened at around 2.30pm at Suva Point yesterday.

The body of the deceased is at the CWM Hospital Mortuary awaiting post mortem.

The second incident occurred at Naiborebore village in Tailevu where a 16-year-old student drowned while swimming with her younger sister.

In another incident a 23-year-old man drowned while swimming with his friends in the Sabeto River in Nadi yesterday.
