Three men appeared before Magistrate Sufia Hamza in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today charged with rape and indecent assault.

The victim is a high school student of Suva.

Semi Benjamin, Vere Vakairiiri and Jope Vakaloloma have been remanded in custody.

Nasinu Prosecution confirms the girl was returning from church on Sunday afternoon when the three men allegedly crossed her path in Nasinu and took her to a house in Nadera where alleged that the offence took place.

The case has been transferred to the Suva High Court and will be recalled on the 12th of November this year.
