A suspended employee of Water Authority of Fiji yesterday pleaded guilty in the Suva Magistrates Court.

Tuimasi Cataki was charged by FICAC last December with a count of bribery.

He admitted to accepting five hundred dollars from the Director of Sphynx Solutions Pty Ltd, an Australian based company.

At the time of the offence, the accused was the Assistant Finance Officer who was liaising with Sphynx Solutions Pty Ltd as their contact person, for purchases being made by WAF at the time.

21 days has been given to the Defense to file their written mitigation and the matter has been adjourned to the 22nd of next month.
