The second suspect in the alleged Fiji Airways drug trafficking investigation has been charged.

The accused has been charged with one count of unlawful importation and exportation and one count of unlawful possession, manufacture, cultivation and supply contrary to the Illicit Drugs Control Act 2004.

The accused is alleged to have on the 23rd of December last year without lawful authority facilitated in exporting of two parcels weighing over 2 kilograms of cocaine and illicit drugs in Nadi.

The accused in his 30’s will be produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court tomorrow.
