The Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed the Princes Road near Dilkusha in Nausori has reopened.
The road was closed yesterday due to three slips that occurred on Sunday evening which resulted in an accident involving two vehicles.
The FRA says they’ve carried out the necessary assessments and the road has been cleared to be safe for motorists.
However, traffic has been restricted to a single lane under a ‘Stop and Go’ traffic management.
Pedestrians are advised to use the walkway at Dilkusha Primary School, however, strong instruction against walking through the main Dilkusha road has been enforced.
The FRA officers have been on standby since yesterday with police presence.
Motorists are being advised to follow the road signs while passing through this road.
