The Fiji Roads Authority is concerned with the drivers’ attitude on the new four-lane project between Nakasi and Nausori.

Two more accidents were recorded on Kings Road from Rewa Bridge to Nakasi last week.

Chief executive Jonathan Moore says drivers are being irresponsible and this could become more dangerous when the four-lane project fully opens.

Moore says despite many requests and signs, some drivers continue to speed putting their lives and pedestrians at risk.

Earlier this month, two more accidents were recorded which were also caused due to speeding.

Moore says they are working with the Fiji Police Force to address this issue of speeding through roadwork zones.
