Understanding and respecting the roles and duties of police officers is vital.

This is the statement made by Chief of Operations, ACP Rusiate Tudravu, as the Force enters another year with a lot of operations taking place.

Tudravu says officers are there to ensure the safety of the people and one should not retaliate when confronted by Police.

“People have to understand and respect police officers their roles and what they are here for, it is for the safety of the people, so if you want to retaliate or cause injuries to Police Officers, Take it from me whenever or wherever you are will be there”

With general election to be held this year, the Police Force will carry out major operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.
