Real Estate Association President Anand Goundar

The Real Estate Association hopes the review of the Real Estate Agents Act by the Real Estate Licensing Board will allow stronger guidelines for the Agents to work within.

Real Estate Association President Anand Goundar says their member’s views are important in order for the sector to grow.

He adds the review is also expected to strengthen the regulations and streamline the processes for obtaining a license for real estate agents.

“Review is already underway `.Referendum being taken .We had contributed a lot towards it, we had several meetings and we want members to contribute as to what they wanted to be changed and we have already submitted our report.”

Goundar adds the Real Estate Board is in the process of receiving public submissions.
