Nadi Town is experiencing intermittent rain as TDO4F continues to affect Fiji.

Renowned for bursting it’s banks the Nadi River has not shown signs of this as yet.

FBC News spoke to a few people in and around town who have been preparing for the worst.

One businessman said: “Nadi always floods this time so we are prepared even if it’s a little rain we have to be ready.”

Despite the light showers currently being experienced this hour, people say they are staying alert.

A press conference will be called this afternoon at the weather office in Nadi for an update on the weather situation.
