The Fiji Roads Authority continues with the pothole repairs around Fiji.

Chief Executive John Hutchinson says it will take weeks to complete these repairs given the magnitude of damage.

“We continuing to average approximately 2,000 repairs a day, unfortunately over the Christmas weekend we do have more rain which set us back a bit but we are continuing with that programme and unfortunately, when we got some 60,000, 2,000 potholes a day, this going to take about a month to get on top of it, that’s assuming we don’t have any weather.”

Hutchinson has urged motorists to be careful while going past workmen on our roads.

FRA is also undertaking the bridge repair and maintenance programme.
