About 30 Asian fishermen were detained at the Totogo Police Station in Suva last night after a morning brawl at the Suva Wharf.

Police spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri says a call was received at the police station that the men were involved in a street brawl.

Some of those involved have suffered stab wounds and are being treated at the Colonial War Memorial hospital.

Police at this stage have no indications what caused the brawl.
