“We are now negotiating with Nausori Airport to acquire some lands to be beneficially to the landowners and extend the runways. We are also looking at Rotuma where the Prime Minister is expected to attend the opening of the lengthening of the runway in July and we will have ATR-72s landing. We also have other airports in various places like Kadavu and Ono-i-Lau.”

The AG says that the returns made from the refurbished of the Nadi Airport will assist in the upgrading other airports.
