“People are still pirating and selling our CD and selling so who is going to buy our CD for $10 or $15. It’s like somebody is stealing from your pocket and you cannot do anything.”

Akif says if the trend continues they will have no option but to close the remaining seven branches.

“We are not doing well at the moment i would say. The trend which is we are facing at the moment, if it continues like that probably we will close some more shops.”

Fiji Performing Rights Association says people need to take this issue seriously.
