Adopting new ideas and practices of Public Financial Management is the main aim of the two-day workshop provided for the Public Accounts Committee members in the region.

More than 30 PAC members in the region have gathered in Suva and have the opportunity to work with each other to consider the characteristics of Pacific Public Accounts Committees and how this is reflected in their work.

UK Parliament programme Manager, Anna Burt says the workshop is important as it allows participants to share their experiences and knowledge of proper public financial management.
