A good turnout was recorded at the Fiji Teachers Union election at the Nadi Sangam School today.

The Fijian Elections Office recorded a preliminary turnout of 1,931 voters at 3pm today.

The turnout this year was overwhelming compared to around 500 that was recorded last year.

The result will be announced once the counting process is completed.
