Over five thousand dollars has so far been collected through a GoFundMe campaign to assist former parliament employee, Iliesa Raiduduva.

This was confirmed by Opposition MP Lynda Tabuya who has been assisting Raiduduva following his dismissal from parliament.

Tabuya says the support shown by Fijians abroad has been overwhelming.

“The Go Fund Me campaign now is over US$3, 000 which I believe the exchange rate today is more around $5, 000 to $6, 000 and people have also contributed directly to Iliesa”.

Meanwhile, Raiduduva is working as a market vendor selling his farm produce at the Nausori market whilst looking for other employment opportunities.
