The LTA and the Police Operation Red Zone has already seen results.

Since the operation began between the Sigatoka to Ba area, 944 Traffics Infringement Notices have been issued by LTA officers with 1194 defect notice orders and 63 impounded vehicles.

Offences noted are speeding, careless driving, expired driving licences and failure to abide by traffic laws.

Speeding is the most common offence and LTA Chief Executive Naisa Tuinceva problem faced on our roads are all based on drivers’ attitude.
