One Fiji Party last night named its first batch of candidates.

Party Leader Filimoni Vosarogo also laid out part of their platform, saying One Fiji stands for political freedom, liberty and dignity.

He says the Party will recognize social, economical and political stability for all Fiji citizens.

“This proposed party deals with reality. It recognizes that the security of the Fiji citizens of Indian origin and other races of different origins of our country are tired to the stability of the indigenous population of Fiji to what they consider to be prized to them – the security of their land and their identity.”

One Fiji is yet to release its manifesto but it will focus on creating job markets and opening innovative – new industries.

Vosarogo says they will not only maximize land use, but the value of productivity as well and strengthen education policies.

The party leader says while they party maybe the newest and possible youngest, its ideals have lived past many centuries.

The Party was officially registered earlier this month.
