No rush to find new FNPF CEO

July 13, 2015 1:00 am

The Fiji National Provident Fund is not rushing into finding a replacement for former Chief Executive Aisake Taito.

FNPF Board Chair, Ajith Kodagoda says it’s a sensitive position which requires someone with the right experience and background.

He says the post is likely to be advertised within 8 weeks – locally and internationally – getting the ball rolling to find a new CEO.

Kodagoda says there’s no rush at this stage because the board wants to take an independent approach and the various divisional managers are looking after the day to day affairs of the FNPF.

No acting Chief Executive has been appointed since Taito’s contract expired about 2 weeks ago.
