Infrastructure Minister, Jone Usamate

Infrastructure Minister, Jone Usamate says every ministry and organization needs to know how well they are performing to meet their targets.

Usamate says in order to do this they need to evaluate their ministry and organization.

He says they are coming up with new plans to continue improving services for Fijians.

“There is always a lot of things that we want to achieve but the amount of money the government has is limited. You always have to prioritize and always have to see what you need to focus on at a particular point in time so we can keep striving to achieve the targets that we have in our long term plans.”

Usamate says they have already outlined the ministry’s 20 year and five-year development plans.
