The 2018/2019 Budget gives Fijians a glimpse into the country’s future says Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama.

He adds they are a blueprint for real development that are to come in the year ahead.

Bainimarama took a swipe at the Opposition for their short-lived praises of the budget.

He says the Opposition seemed to have high praise immediately after the speech and it seemed for a fleeting moment that they can all come together to find common ground on ways to improve lives of Fijian families.

But, the Prime Minster says they soon reverted to their old tactics, throwing criticism to the wall – adding their inconsistency is almost humorous.

Bainimarama says with his government, a promise made is a promise delivered and they are wholly focused on improving the lives of every family in Fiji.
