Parliamentarian, Balmindar Singh was granted bail by the Nasinu Magistrates Court this morning.

Singh who is charged with dangerous driving and failure to supply sufficient breath analysis was remanded in custody by Magistrate Sufia Humza yesterday.

Prosecution had objected to his bail yesterday saying he committed a serious offence.

He was released on five hundred dollars bail with two sureties.

Singh was arrested last Friday by Valelevu police when his car went off the road in Nadera.

Singh will re-appear on the 25th of next month.
