More work needed in Police Force

The Acting Police Commissioner says more work is needed to be done in the Fiji Police Force.

Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho says his role has been an interesting work which covers a spectrum of things that military does not cover.

He has acknowledged that it has been a busy start since taking up the new role, however will not likely ease off in the coming months.

’’There’s a lot to be done and most of the work that needs to be done will require the assistance of the community. The Police cannot do it alone and needs to work with the community in addressing issues that are of national concern that the Police usually handles’’.

Brigadier General Qiliho is visiting key police stations around the country completing a visit in the West, East, Southern Division, Kadavu and returns today from the North.
