A 26-year old man charged with one count of burglary, one count of rape and one count of aggravated robbery will be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates court today.

It is alleged the man raped and robbed a 35-year-old woman on Sunday morning in Delaivalelevu.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says it is alleged that the accused entered the victim’s home while she was asleep, threatened and raped her and then took off with her phone and assorted items.

The arresting team also seized the stolen items.
