A 34 year old man of Raviravi Ba is in police custody after he allegedly used benzene to set his 26 year old wife on fire.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the incident happened while the victim was shopping with her 3 year old daughter at Bargain Box in Lautoka yesterday afternoon.

The victim received 10% burns and is now admitted at the ICU Ward at Lautoka hospital.

The suspect is in custody under investigation.
