A 37-year-old man died after he was allegedly trapped under a digger yesterday afternoon.

The incident occurred along Ratu Kadavulevu Road in Wainibokasi.

The rear right tyre ran over the victim while the 33-year-old digger operator was reversing

He was rushed to the Wainibokasi Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

The circumstances surrounding the death are being investigated by CID officers.

The deceased was originally from Nabouciwa in Tailevu.
