A 44 year old man has been charged with three counts of rape and one count of pornographic activity contrary to section 62 (b) of the Juveniles (Amendment) Act, 1997 for offences allegedly committed against a 17 year old.

The accused is alleged to have raped the 17 year old victim on three different occasions between 2013 – 2015.

Further to that the accused is also facing a charge of Pornographic activity and is alleged to have participated in recording pornographic activity of the victim who was 15 at the time of the incident.

The accused will be produced at the Sigatoka Magistrates Court today.
