A man has been charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death and one count of dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm in relation to a fatal accident in Vuci road Nausori last week.

Police say the six-year-old boy allegedly crossed along Vuci road when he was hit by a vehicle driven by the man.

The victim was taken to the Nausori Health centre where he was pronounced dead.

The man has been released on bail and will reappear in court on 24th January.
