The Loloma Operation is here to stay.

This is the confirmation from Social Welfare Minister Mereseini Vuniwaqa as she speaks to FBC News about their progress to try and assist homeless people.

Vuniwaqa says they will continue to work with police to try and provide the much needed assistance for street dwellers.

While visiting the Suva city area yesterday, Vuniwaqa managed to meet with some of them and at the same time offer medical assistance.

Vuniwaqa says there have been an increase in the number of people on the streets and the Ministry will continue to find avenues to help them.
