Sai Prema Foundation committed to bringing more health specialist

Over 7,000 people have received medical assistance from the Sanjeevani Medical Centre in Muanikau, Suva since opening in April of last year.

Director of the Sanjeevani Medical Centre Dr. Krupali Tappoo highlighted patients receive consultation and free medications.

Dr. Krupali also assured their commitment to continue bringing visiting health specialists from overseas to better the health service provided to Fijians.

Visiting Pediatric Nurse practitioner Shahn Horrocks and Psychiatrist Dr. Georgina Brunton of “Health in Kind”, an Australian Non-governmental Organisation was in the country last week and assisted in the “Helth on Wheels” program by the Sanjeevani Medical Centre.

Dr. Krupali says that Horrocks and Dr. Bruton also assisted in the training of some nurses and doctors on areas of treating pediatrics emergencies.
