Government has approved 10 public holidays for 2020.

The Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations had consulted the stakeholders on the dates and this announcement will allow Fijians and all relevant stakeholders to plan their activities for 2020.

The public holidays appeared in the Gazette through Notice 78 on the 6^th September.

1. New Year’s Day                                             —         Wednesday, 1 January 2020

2. Good Friday                                                  —         Friday, 10 April 2020

3. Easter Saturday                                            —         Saturday, 11 April 2020

4. Easter Monday                                             —         Monday, 13 April 2020

5. Constitution Day                                         —         Monday, 7 September 2020

6. Fiji Day                                                          —         Saturday, 10 October 2020

7. Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday              —         Monday, 2 November 2020

8. Diwali                                                            —         Monday, 16 November 2020

Christmas Day                                             —         Friday, 25 December 2020

10. Boxing Day                                                  —         Monday, 28 December 2020
