A number of roads in the Western and Northern Division remain closed and impassable at this stage.

The Roads Authority is advising motorists not to drive into water of unknown depth and current as this can be life threatening.

Drivers are advised to find alternative routes where possible and take extra caution.

The FRA is closely monitoring the situation of the roads and the public is urged to remain vigilant, tune into the local radio and listen to the advice of the emergency services.
