Flood warning remains as water levels decrease

A flood warning remains in force for Navolau, Nairukuruku villages and low lying areas of Nausori area.

Navolau River: 11.12m – which is 3.12m above critical level and decreasing.

Nairukuruku River: 7.5m which is about 2.5m above critical level and decreasing.

Rewa River: 4.55m which is 1.55m above critical level and decreasing.

Low tide: 0.4m at 06:00 am today

High tide: 1.8m at 12:30 am today

Tropical Cyclone Evan is moving south-southeast at 14 km/hr away from Fiji and associated rain bands is no longer expected to affect eastern Viti Levu.
