Farmer bailed after allegedly renting a car under PM's Office bill

A farmer of Nasinu who is alleged to have rented a vehicle from a Rental car company in Nadera, has been granted bail with a surety of one thousand dollars.

Etueni Vuetibau is charged with one count of falsification of documents and one count of dishonestly causing a loss.

He appeared in the Nasinu Magistrates Court.

It’s alleged the farmer hired a rental car on November 25th, last year and presented a false purchase order to the rental car company.

The farmer also told the rental company the bills will be paid by the Prime Minister’s Office.

It’s alleged the man returned the car after twelve days, however, did not make any payments.

He will take his plea on the 7th of May, this year.
