One man playing 17 different characters will be the highlight of the Award-winning play “The Guru of Chai” by Indian Ink Theatre Company.
The play is described as funny yet beautiful and performer Jacob Rajan will for the first time perform in Fiji at the New Zealand Official Residence in Suva today.
The one-man show will grace Fijian audiences on Friday and Saturday at the ICT Center, at USP, Laucala Campus.
“Expect to be transported to India. For 75 minutes we tell the incredibly rich story with a bunch of really crazy characters and they will feel like they’ve been shipped over to India for a magical evening.”
The Guru of Chai written by Rajan and Justin Lewis compares a classic Indian fairytale with modern-day challenges in a must-see display of storytelling.
