DVD dealers told to register

The Fiji Video and Library Association is calling on its members to get registered amid reports that no one will be allowed to operate without approval from the Fiji Intellectual Property Office.

Association Secretary Pravin Rama says they had fruitful discussions with FIPO where zoning and application rights amongst other issues were discussed.

They currently have 40 members out of the 150 DVD outlets around the country.

FIPO has called on DVD operators to comply with the new licensing requirements or else they will have to say goodbye to their businesses.
